Jccs 2012

Here are some pica from the 2012 jccs  in long beach CA. This is the third jccs I have been to and there are always great clasic Japanese cars there. This year I went with my wife and daughter. The weather is usually beautiful but this year it was so hot that it was not that fun. But I did get a few good picture.

The Van

So I picked up an 89 Toyota Van with under 200k miles on it; kind of high but it seems to be mechanically sound. I will still be checking it out for a minute. I pull the codes and I got nothing but a lean mixture code. The interior needs help but I have a plan. But I will post more about that as I go. The paint is faded but the body is super straight I don’t think I have noticed one dent. So there is definitely potential. Needless to say I have a new project and a lot of work to do.

On the hunt

It's been almost a year since I had to sale my car and its time to get another. Finally! I have been searching Craigslist for candidates and this Saturday I'm going to the Jccs carshow in long beach CA. Soon I will not have to share or plan my driving. No longer will I have to driving a boring and or avarage car. Hahaha soon I will rule the tri-state area. Hey where's Perry?
